Text Box: A vision from a meditation
Or 2012, hang on, here we go!

I took a path from the astral lake I had been visiting during regular meditations. It led to a Grecian style patio of stone where I greeted an ancient looking robed and bearded man. He indicated towards a large stone globe supported in a hemisphere frame of stone. As I observed the globe, it was rotating on a slightly tilted axis, as our Earth does now. Then it went through a dramatic wobble, as a spinning gyroscope that has been bumped out of balance, where the poles for a moment were almost horizontal. Then, as a gyroscope would, it returned to a stable rotation, but with the poles aligned vertically. The man communicated to me "In your lifetime". I was 44, at the time.

Yet, let's conjecture. Perhaps this vision is about the future of our planet. The geophysical impact of a magnetic pole shift? The end of the Mayan calendar in 2012? Certainly fills the "stars falling from the sky" (or however that biblical thing goes). What I wonder is what the impact of something like this would be? Certainly there would be dramatic weather and water movement. But how much would we actually feel it? We don't usually feel the Earth spinning around at its usual 500 miles per hour. I wouldn't want to be in a tall building on a coast, but would a cow on the high plateau fall over? Providing we don't lose much of our atmosphere, life should go on.

Personally I'm ever hopeful for some life saving quantum leap in human evolution, or the Rasta's Black Star Liners come from the sky to take us home, or "The Keys of Enoch" protective domes appearing.

One Incident of Sleep Paralysis

A Vision of the Goddess
I had one experience of sleep paralysis, but with a difference that I haven't heard discussed.

As a young man I was lying in bed, falling asleep. I opened my eyes and saw a being standing at the right of the foot of my bed. It was feminine, dressed in an embroidered toga, helmet, holding a lance or staff, with an owl on her right shoulder. I consider this to be a vision of Athena. The owl’s eyes burned a bright orange. The room was bathed in a soft gray light.

At first I was fearful, more of the paralysis than the presence. I gradually gained composure and consciously calmed my breathing. Then I was able to tap my left leg with my finger. I thought to myself, I’m definitely awake, now, and I can still see her! I spoke,” What can I do for you?” With that she disappeared and the light took a few moments to fade. It took me some time to get back to sleep as I pondered the experience.

So, I was definitely awake while still having the vision of her and her bird and still seeing the soft light. What would the psychiatrist say to that? I relaxed to the point of being able to shake off the paralysis; I moved; I audibly spoke; I was awake; I had trouble getting back to sleep! I was not in some incredibly lucid dream sleep. (Unless all life is a dream)

Rather I was awake in an objectively existing “dream place” or dimension.

In my own experience of my life: I was visited. And it was a very positive and enriching experience.
